Art Bus Virtual Trip: Phoenix Airport Museum
with Tamsin Wolff
Why do you go to an airport? To take a trip? Well, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport has much more in store for you than that. Get ready to experience a world class art museum that rivals any in the state and is widely recognized as a leader in the airport museum realm. It has become one of the largest public art programs in the country. The museum includes an art collection of 900 works, more than 40 exhibit spaces in six buildings, and is sponsored by the City of Phoenix Aviation Department - with a mission to showcase Arizona's unique artistic and cultural heritage. This is a Zoom class where you can leave all the walking - more than 4 miles - to us! And because the museum changes out the art from time to time, even if you have already been on this tour, you will see many new works of art! When you register, you will receive a Zoom URL so that you can join the class on October 27.
