with Julia Harmon

Calendar Oct 19, 2020 at 9:30 am

This class is a great opportunity to learn how to make a beautiful necklace and is led by Julia Harmon, a premier jewelry maker in the area.  You will select your "doughnut" with a choice of several colors, along with wires and beads.  You will then turn them into a wonderful pendant.  They make fabulous fashion accessories, and exceptional gifts!  You can either use your own tools, if you have them, or share those provided by the instructor.

All materials are included in a class fee of $3, payable to the instructor on the day of the class. Leather cords will be available for an extra $1 in several sizes, in black and white.  Extra kits will also be available at the end of class for a $3 fee, which will allow you to make more of these beautiful fashion accessories.

$25 - Class size is limited due to spacing concerns, so register early!

Memory Project Workshop

$20

with Susan McCaslin

Calendar Oct 20, 2020 at 1 pm, runs for 3 weeks

Susan McCaslin, a noted artist from CT, is going to give us a chance to express ourselves artistically in an attempt to make sense of all that we have experienced recently in our country and the world. Living through a pandemic is something unique and you will want to remember what is was like.  This workshop will have us create a 3-dimentional figure that will hold our memories, similar to a diary or a time-capsule.  All the materials you will need will be found around your house. Susan will help you get started, but you will be making it uniquely yours.

When you register, you will be sent further instructions and the URL for the classes.
